Stop
1: Haikou
Situated by a tropical sea, the Seaside Road has been developed into a park
along the western coast. On both sides of the road extending more than 10 km
are coconut trees. Further to the west is the vast Wanluyuan (Enormous Green
Park). Scenic attractions include the Jiari (Holiday) Beach, where the locals
relax and spend their vacations, and the Ocean World theme park, with displays
on the mysteries of the sea and colourful marine life.
Stop 2: Boao
The Boao Forum For Asia is a non-governmental, non-profit and regulated international
conference organization and the only one of its kind in Asia. Since it was established
in February 2001, the forum has served as a venue for high-level dialogue and
discussions among political, commercial and academic leaders in Asia.
Stop 3: The Wanquan River
The Wanquan River is one of
the natural landmarks of
Hainan Island. The river's
crystal-clear water winds
around the foot of Wuzhi
(Five Finger) Mountain before it reaches Qionghai City and empties into the
South China Sea at Boao. Rainforests stretch along the banks, creating unique
and beautiful scenery. The unspoiled environment has earned the river valley
the soubriquet of "Oxygen Valley".

Route: Haikou--> Boao--> Qionghai Wanquan River--> Xinglong -->
Lingshui Nanwan--> Wuzhi Mountain--> Sanya--> Dongfang--> Changjiang
Bawangling--> Yangpu--> Kaikou
Advantages: It is the most comfortable way to travel in Hainan and enjoy the
natural environment. It is suitable for family travel.
Road conditions: Most of the roads are high-grade highways except for the latter
section on Wuzhi Mountain and a three-kilometer section on Bawangling.
